* Mixed Skills Classes Residential Home Maintenance:

House painting tips - techniques, plaster repair, minor carpentry repair ( wood replacement ), various painting stripping techniques, tile cleaning & regrouting, garage repair/restoration and much more!
This class meets once a week. Between classes each week, students are encouraged to communicate with class instructor by email. Special projects, creative input is encouraged. This is a blended learning class!

* How to get started in your own house painting or residential home maintenance business.

This class is straight forward, not theory. To the point and practical. Class will be a weekly lecture. Between classes students will be encouraged to communicate they're questions to the class instructor via email.

Explaining and evaluating today's technology 2006 and what it means to you and me! Conversations.

Course objectives:

Our goal is to alert and inform the community what impact that technology is having right now and in the emerging year 2006. Those communities who lag behind in technology( now and in the future ) will be among the last areas where business and industry will settle. As well blacks must change. The atitudes that served our ancestors through out our time in this country must now be reevaluated and renegotiated, if we are to survive or take our place as full participants in the economy and country. We must in a timely manner, seek to be focused and try to understand and apply what works for us now!

Our community (race) must begin to imagine innovative, creative ways to encourage young people into the practical, useful technological mainstream.

As well we will discuss ' the folkways' the consciousness of the race.
